Boot Camp Video

Bill, Melanie, and I go to boot camp M - F at 9:00 am. About 9:10 each day I wonder why I am there. By 9:30 I'm planning how I'll take my chocolate after class - donuts, cheesecake, straight. After class I feel great, except for the days I can't walk!

Boot camp was an impulse buy. About a year ago Gabby and I went to the gym to schedule Baden's birthday party at the indoor pool. When we were leaving I saw a boot camp sign and remembered Melanie talking about how great it was. I don't know what I was thinking, but the trainer convinced me that I could do it. Looking back on my first couple months I see that the class was way out of my league. I'm hanging in there now, usually at the back of the group. But in the end I really do feel great and I can afford more chocolate.

The local news came by the gym during the 6:00 am class and did some filming. I've posted the link so you can check it out. At the end of the clip the trainer tells the class to take 2 recovery laps. I thought that was funny - never in a million years would I have expected that two laps around the gym was a break, but trust me it is!

Way to go that you feel like you are hanging in there with the class! I can't believe you would purchase boot camp on a whim and keep at it this long.
Way to go Amy and Mel!!!
