This week Bill's Aunt Jean and Uncle Roger came to visit us all the way from the UK. We feel so special that they would make such an effort. They are very fun and we always have lots to talk about. (May agrees and would also like me to add that they brought "really great presents!") We went out to dinner and found this picture of Queen Victoria and Prince Phillip (Vic and Phil to them). They were good sports and let me take a photo of them next to it. Baden had a soccer game on Saturday and Uncle Roger remarked that he enjoyed being out at the "football pitch." We look forward to spending some more time with them this summer when we cross the pond. The motherland is calling Bill home for a visit.

I got to meet great uncle Roger. What a sweet gentleman! And I could tell May was really loving him there too! And he has just the right kind of accent. Loving that!
Sorry to be pcky but I think the couple in the picture behind Bill, Jean and Roger are Liz and Phil (not Vic and Phil). Vic died in 1901 and was succeeded by Ed VII, George V, Ed VIII, George VI and now our own dear Liz II (not to be confused with Liz I who looked a lot like Cate Blanchett and was into piracy and chooping people's heads off and other stuff which is not so popular these days).
a cool blog, and a history lesson all in one! lovin it! i always wanted to speak with an english accent. i tried to start speaking with one when i was in the 6th grade but my family kept telling me to knock it off. i tried.
Jim I'm still laughing!!! I'm glad I finally got you to make a comment on my blog! What would I do without you?? luvs!
You'd probably do just fine without me nitpicking minor details! Like your blog very much but still struggling with the technology for making comments, hope this works. Please note: all the above written with my best English accent!!!!
